Easter Chocolate & Sea Salt Pretzel Snacks

It’s never too early to start eating Easter chocolate, is it?

This is day three here of distance learning for our kids, and they have been trying hard to find a new sense of ‘normal’. What with everything going on, and being confined to the house, it’s easy for kids to forget that spring has sprung and this is Easter weekend.

To cheer our girls up as they struggle to figure out how to reconnect with their teachers and friends and get back down to school work, I picked up a few Easter goodies on my weekly grocery trip and put them to good use.

Today’s treat were these Easter chocolate & sea salt pretzel bites.

These Easter snacks are an easy go-to baking idea that can be whipped up in about 10 minutes (plus cooling time).

If you make these, be warned, the combination of creamy chocolate with the sea salt and crunch from the pretzels is addictive!

If you dare to make them (and don’t say I didn’t warn you):

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place pretzels on baking sheet, topped with a Hershey’s Hug milk chocolate.

Put pretzels in the oven for 2-4 minutes, until chocolates are soft but still holding their shape.

Remove from oven and top gently with the Easter candy of your choice.

Refrigerate to cool and allow them to set.
