Meal prep this weekend included this fabulous curry rice salad with sweet potato, pumpkin seeds, raisins, almonds, and more. Such a great way to get vegetables and other goodies into the family! #mealprep #mealprepsunday #eatyourveggies #salad #ricesalad #dinnertime #theylovedit #glutenfreefood #goodeats #curry
I have a new favourite snack: apple & maple Boursin cheese with pear. I could make a dinner out of this stuff, so good!! #creamcheese #snacktime #snackidea #fruitforlunch #glutenfreesnacks #newfavorite #snack #cantgetenough
What's for #breakfast? Getting my #veggiefix with a veggie sweet potato hash this morning: sweet potato, carrots, peppers, onion & garlic. Ready in just a few minutes and oh so delicious. #breakfastideas #breakfasttime #veggiesforbreakfast #deliciousfood #eathealthy #eatyourveggies
So much local goodness in our farm order this morning. Can't wait to get to cooking and tasting!! #shoplocal #eatlocal #supportlocal #supportsmallbusiness #ontariofarm #ontariofarmers #freshfood #gettocooking #foodprep #mealprep
It's easy to bring a rainbow to your plate: carrots come in all sorts of colours. These maple Dijon roasted carrots were part of our Sunday supper and I'm already getting requests for more. #eatarainbow #eatavariety #colorfulfood #organic #carrots #vegetables #shoplocal #eatlocal #cookstowngreens
In my continued quest to convert some family members over to vegetarians, I cooked up these ooey gooey good cheesy quinoa cakes last night. Another winner! #goingvegetarian #glutenfree #vegetarian #dinnerideas #theylikedit #quinoaforthewin
Getting my fruits & veg for lunch with a great pear salad. Its loaded with golden beets, pecans, pumpkin seeds, shaved parmesan, mixed greens & sprouts, & lightly drizzled with a fresh homemade apple cider vinegar/maple/Dijon dressing. #bigsalad #saladbowl #fruitsandveggies #healthylunchideas #goodeats #mixitup #applecidervinegar #salad
Sometimes my favourite meals come from cleaning up the leftovers in the fridge. Using up 3 salads today: quinoa harvest with sweet potato, apple & pecans, and Mediterranean chickpea salad over mixed leafy greens. So much flavour and no dressing required! #salad #eatarainbow #vegetarian #eatyourveggies #goodeats #goodeating #nodressingrequired #flavourful
